At NLPC we offer a range
of activities for organisations and individuals. Our activities have
been developed to address community needs and expectations.
Outreach
We offer a host of advocacy services to individuals and organisations
designed to assist people in the areas of health, training and employment,
housing, refugee and asylum seeker applications, education and capacity
building. Our officers and members will provide you with practical
solutions and support enabling access to mainstream resources and
service provision.
Youth
The North London Partnership Consortium is constantly developing imaginative
and creative ways to engage with BME youth. We combine education and
information with art and music as the vehicle to address prominent
youth issues while promoting leadership and personal development.

The North London Partnership Consortium offers numerous training and
employment initiatives to members of the BME community including Refugees

The Haringey BME Forum
The Haringey BME Forum has been set up to address the specific issues
of black and minority ethnic groups in each of Haringey's major issues
namely: community safety, health and social care and provision of
services for children and young people. The BME Forum is managed by
North London Partnership Consortium Ltd (NLPC) whose role is to coordinate
and facilitate the work of the Forum and ensure appropriate representation
to the thematic groups of HarCEN on identified BME issues.
Community and voluntary organisations engaged in service delivery
or interested in the issues affecting BME communities are encouraged
to become members of the Haringey BME Forum which:
- provides an opportunity to influence service delivery and allocation
of resources;
- provides an opportunity for voluntary and community organisations
to articulate their issues across the thematic groups;
- provides an opportunity to influence decision making in the
borough;
- provides an opportunity to address critical resource issues
impacting BME communities;
- provides an opportunity for networking at a local level;
- will ensure that the HSP represents the ethnic and cultural
diversity of Haringey
