Answer: No. The NLPC is a rapidly expanding company and seeks to have Member Organisation across London and covering a multitude of different communities and cultures. The 'North London' in NLPC refers to the origins of the company. Since then we have expanded across the capital. Top of the page      Question: Which ethnic minority groups and communities does the NLPC work with? Answer: Our aim is to have Member Organisations representing the diverse mix of communities in London and responsive to the shifting trends in the backgrounds of new arrivals. Currently our Member Organisations cater for people from the following countries: Somalia, Nigeria, Cabinda, Eritrea, Ethiopia, The Congo, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq and other Asian, African and Middle Eastern Countries. Answer: Examples include Haringey and Enfield Councils, Sure Start, NHS, Primary Care Trust, Education and Health Authorities, The College of North East London, MIND, Jobcentreplus. Answer: Examples include First Link Training, Regenesys, MBA, Regeneration Agencies and Networks, Employment Agencies. As well as all the usual programmes and opportunities being open to women, two of our Member Organisations cater for women exclusively and we have run programmes focussing on the social and economic development and physical and mental wellbeing of women. In addition we have a detailed and specific knowledge of the issues affecting ethnic minority communities which can be utilised in business and marketing strategies.
